We all expected to see what Valentino would present for resort 2016 and we are super excited to announce that we finally have the chance to admire the new cruise fashion collection signed by the famous designer. We have to say that Valentino is among those special fashion retailers that always manage to impress us with their luxurious fashion lines. Even though the designers has his signature style that makes us distinguish his works on the runway shows they never stop shocking us with new ideas and artworks.
Speaking of the new Valentino cruise 2016 collection we would like to put en emphasis on the fact that the new line presented by the label appears to be folksy compared to the previous works. In fact the reference list of the new fashion project includesthe most interesting sources like Native American motifs, garden flowers among with animal prints, which by the way are one of the most characteristic designing ”tools” of the label. As Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli mentioned the whole collection appears a result of inspiration that the designer got from Diana Vreeland’s “The eye has to travel” motto. And as you will notice from the very first demonstrations of the looks the main idea was to create a sophisticated resort line that will perfectly reflect the perception of multiculturalism in our times. “We are interested in the idea of harmony that combines different worlds, creating an aesthetic that is really contemporary because it’s the fruit of free associations,” said Chiuri speaking of the role of all kinds of festivals and multicultural events in our life.
What we especially liked about the gorgeous fashion collection launched by the label was the idea of offering simple yet gorgeous fashion items embellished with the most interesting designing details that seem to be ideal for a resort look. As for the colors chosen for the new Valentino resort 2016 line we have to admit that even the color palette was well-thought over by the designers toperfectly match with the whole philosophy lying on the back of the beautiful pieces included in the new line.
After all it is important to mention that from the first sight one can surely say that the ”young and free” spirit of festivals of the summer season was exactly what the designers wanted to express with their works in the first place. When it comes to the resort 2016 alternatives suggested by Valentino the ultra-feminine long gowns are what one needs to especially refer to. Starting from their exotic floral prints ending with the inspiring color combinations everything seems perfect for a resort look.
