Taylor Swift Launches Her First Fragrance Wonderstruck

Beautiful and talented Taylor Swift plans to expand her already great line of achievements and get closer to her fans through her first signature fragrance, called “Wonderstruck“, which is inspired by one of her songs, “Enchanted”. The teen star has teamed up with the Elizabeth Arden brand to make her project a real sensation.

Taylor’s first signature scent is meant to evoke pleasant memories and feelings related to love: “I’ve always loved how fragrance can shape a memory, the way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts.
I share personal life experiences through my music, and my fragrance will allow me to share these experiences with my fans in a completely different and new way. Falling in love is a moment every girl daydreams about and Wonderstruck represents that magical feeling of promise and hope and intrigue. It was fascinating to learn that you can layer so many different scents to create a beautiful end result.”
The 21-year-old diva was completely involved into the process of creating  her perfume and she states that the entire process is quite much like a musician’s work: “Writing songs is a process unlike anything else, and I’ll never experience anything like it. However, coming up with ideas for this fragrance and the packaging and message of it reminded me of what it’s like to plan an album launch. You come up with a theme that represents all these tiny moving parts, a sum of all the planning and creating. Then it goes out into the world and becomes a part of people’s daily lives.”
Lori Mariano, director of global marketing at Elizabeth Arden Inc, declared: “She has global star power. That, coupled with her fan adoration, shows she’s really going to make an indelible mark in this fragrance industry.”
Musk, peach and sandalwood make the basis of “Wonderstruck“, while the core notes are Hawaiian blanket, hibiscus and honeysuckle and vanilla. This beautiful bouquet of scents is finished with the top notes of freesia, green tea, apple blossom, raspberry and dewberry.
The perfume will be available already this fall, in September, in US stores such as Macy’s, Belk’s and Dillard’s, Sephora and Ulta as well as in Puerto Rico, Australia and New Zealand. Other countries have to wait till fall 2012 for the fragrance to hit their stores. The pricing will be as follows: $49.50 for a 1.7-oz. eau de parfum and $59.50 for a 3.4-oz. size, $18 roller ball, $29 body lotion and $25 ball gel in 6.8-oz. containers.
