The idol of many teenagers, Justin Bieber doesn’t stop surprising his fans. This time the famous singer decided to help women smell good, launching his first signature perfume. He wanted to create a special new scent for his female fans, as it’s very important for him the way a girl smells. Thus in collaboration with the well-known perfume designer Honorine Blanc of Firmenich, Justin created a new wonderful fragrance, called “Someday”, which is described as a “fruity gourmand” blend. Actually the spirit of giving back served as a perfect source of inspiration for “Someday”. So what is better than feeling great and giving back?
According to WWD, Justin said: “Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy! I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world.”
“They really let me take the lead on the entire project, because I know my fans better than anyone – from working with the team on the development of the fragrance itself to helping to design the bottle and packaging,” he explained.
Going on with his giving ways, Justin intends to donate a part of his scent’s profits to two of his favorite charities, Pencils of Promise and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. “Not only am I able to create a fragrance for all my fans, but I am able to give back to charity, which is a huge priority for me,” he adds. “The people at Give Back Brands really get me, and what I represent and care about.”
The perfume is packaged in an ultra girlie bottle with a heart-shaped flower on top, along with removable charms hanging from the neck. The print campaign is photographer by Terry Richardson, featuring Dree Hemingway, who appears in the TV ad as well.
Juicy mandarin, pear and wild berries make up the top notes of “Someday”, while vanilla and soft musk are the base and fresh jasmine and creamy flowers the heart of it. It’s designed especially for 14-18 years old teen girls, being very light and youthful.
Justin Bieber Someday is available in bottles of 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum ($25-55) and matching body products, such as scented hair mist and body lotion. The limited edition of the newly launched perfume has hit the stores now, while the official launching will take place in June 20.
