Jennifer Lopez is expanding the long list of her signature perfumes and is launching already her 17th fragrance, called “Love and Light”. Launched on the 2nd of July, the new scent is actually the extension of her “Love and Glamour” perfume, only with woody floral notes. “Love and Light” will hit Kohl’s and other stores in September. According to Jennifer Lopez, the new scent will help women express themselves and their deepest emotions.
“Love & Light is an extension of ‘Love & Glamour’. It’s the next incarnation. With Love & Light, I wanted to create a fragrance that was less about the world around you and more about your inner light and your spirit. It’s about how you feel inside; it’s not about your outside world,” she says.
From the very first glance at the bottle, we can feel the high dose of femininity and sophistication it contains. It resembles feminine curves and uses subtle iridescent notes for extra sophistication. Once the main notes are concerned, rose crystal absolute, apricot, jasmine, mandarin, red currant, patchouli, musk and praline are the ones, alluring our senses.
The ad campaign of the fragrance, which has already been filmed, is equally interesting, reviving old Hollywood glamour and a noticeable vintage touch. Jennifer poses in a silky gown, wearing perfectly styled cascading waves.
“Love and Light” will be available in two version – a 30 ml version ($32) and a 75 ml version ($58) with matching body care products. Judging by the great success her previous perfumes had, we can conclude that “Love and Light” will be no less successful.
