To get it started you just have to follow some easy steps:
1. Section your Hair
Thus what you need to do first of all is section off your hair dividing it into three equal sections. Note that the middle section of your hair must be thicker than the other two. Once you’ve done that tie the middle section with a hair tie to make a low pony at the nape of your neck.

2. Crisscross your Hair
At this point you need to section off the two sections from the sides (the ones that were left out of the ponytail) into top and bottom parts. Once you’ve done that grab the top layer with your left hand and cross it over the right side of your head, right above the ponytail and secure it with a bobby pin. Now grab the top section of hair from the right side, cross it over the left side and pin. Then take the hair strands from the left and cross it over to the right. Note that you also have to grab the tail and tuck it in so you’ll get the look, otherwise you’ll fail it. Repeat the same process only this time using the hair from the right side of your head. If you end up having a short tail left out you can just tuck it in and pin it while if it’s long you can simply wrap it around your elastic band to get a well-polished look. Additionally you can leave out a few face-framing strands out to add some movement to your hair. It’s up to your preference.
