If most of the fashion designers mainly concentrated on casual wear outfits from the very first days of New York Fashion Week, the Zac Posen brand spread all beauty and allure on the catwalk, taking a different perspective and focusing on elegant evening wear options that instantly won everyone’s admiration. Refinement, glamour, sophistication and elegance are the words that best characterize all those fascinating dresses and gowns, every single voguish fashionizer would love to have.
The Zac Posen spring 2012 collection was a real parade of old Hollywood-style gowns, each of which was adorned with a high dose of femininity and a certain touch of drama. Perfectly fitted silhouettes and a high emphasis on the waist were much peculiar to the designs presented. According to the brand, corset dresses are making a huge comeback in the upcoming warm season, which look extremely sophisticated and ladylike. The line of stunning dresses features such impressive elements, as peplum accents, tailored elongated jackets, fabulous embroidery sophisticated necklaces. Mermaid style gowns dominated the catwalk and the line of vampire sexy dresses instantly conquered those women, who always try to look elegant and special, at the same time maintaining a high dose of seductiveness.
If you are looking for a pair of stylish pants, look somewhere else, as Zac Posen is dressing his lady to kill! Featuring tulle, lamé, silk, and tons of sparkle, these gowns looked amazing. As for the color choices, you could see mainly neutral tones, as well as timeless black, red, blue, green and other catchy colors.
Coco Rocha was the model to open and close the show, who wore a snug ivory silk-faille, double-lapel daytime dress with a trumpet hem, and a molded gown made of lustrous, gray duchesse satin with a huge mermaid hemline. Overall the breathtaking designs, featured in the Zac Posen spring 2012 collection, scored a well-deserved, memorable place in the latest New York Fashion Week.
