Men and women have different viewpoints concerning lingerie. It is proved that men like satin, silk and delicate lingerie and whenever buying lingerie they give preference to these materials. Whereas most girls, although adore latest fashion trends and all those delicate lingerie, use more cotton fabric in everyday, since they are both natural, comfortable and make their body breathe. Since men perceive lingerie differently, they almost always thrive for something specific, with laces or embroidery on them, usually ending up in buying a saucy set, while most women like stylish and comfortable, at the same time a sexy and nice colored set. So it turns out that despite the efforts from the opposite sex, most women are not satisfied with the choice of their beloved.
The very first idea that comes to a man’s head when choosing a gift for their beloved is lingerie. I do not know why it is so, but almost 90% of men, normally head for this section in a shop, especially during annual purchase, like on their birthday, on Christmas or any anniversary.
The reason why men choose this particular gift is an excuse for their beloved for the wrong things they have done, by choosing this garment, they think their woman will melt and forgive him everything at once. And since everyday ordinary lingerie will not be of much joy to women, they focus on sexy and saucy ones. According to Michelle Dowdall, Debenhams spokesperson, “Most men head off into stores with the best of intentions, yet when faced with satin, lace, frills and bows, panic and buy the first thing they see, without giving a thought to what the woman in their life would actually like.”
Whereas women like receiving elegant looking lingerie, like long-lined or padded bras and nice looking panties, or midi style briefs combined with stockings that always look sexy. And of course the color also matters. Red, as most men choose, does not always satisfy women, since the latter always opt for either neutral shades or classical black, which looks no less sexy as compared to red ones.
Women like well fitting bras, full support ones e.g. and boy shorts. On the contrary men prefer corsets, push up bras combined with a bikini. The reason is that this is what they want their women be dressed in. And whatever style they choose it should necessarily be of traditional red color.
Nevertheless we should not blame our men, since they do not understand much in lingerie, as they do not have to wear those womanly garments. They simply judge by appearance, not by its being comfortable and pleasant to wear. They are simply forced to buy the set that their inner voice tells them. And besides when choosing a set, they imagine how sexy and appealing it will look like on their partner and melt from the desire to see her dressed in it as soon as possible.
So, dear women, do not criticize your men by their choice. It is not their fault but the nature has created them with the instinct of a “hunter”, who is rushing for the best eye catching bite. And what can make a woman look sexier and a little dirty if not a saucy set of red lingerie.
