With just a few weeks to go until the holiday season, celebrity collaborations quickly expand and this time it’s Rachel Bilson’s turn to show off her great fashion side. Teaming up with her long time celebrity stylist, Nicole Chavez, and fashion expert and footwear designer Steve Madden, gorgeous actress Rachel Bilson is coming up with an exclusive footwear collection for the social commerce company BeachMint. Rachel’s debut collection will combine her signature style, Nicole’s fashion experience and Steve’s extraordinary craftsmanship and design. Rachel Bilson’s ShoeMint line will be launched for the holidays, offering a monthly selection of fascinating shoes to BeachMint’s members.
Speaking about her new project, the ‘Hart of Dixie’ star said that, “I loved the idea of designing really cute shoes that are affordable and accessible. The whole idea behind the BeachMint brand makes the online shopping experience so personal.” Rachel also added that, “More and more, people are shopping for shoes online and with BeachMint, I have the opportunity to design not just the shoes, but the full experience for our customers, which feels more personal and rewarding for me.”
The 30-year-old actress has been always spotted for her unique style, inspiring millions of women worldwide. However, what does Rachel think about being a designer? “As a designer, I’m always exploring new mediums and footwear is a category I’ve always been very passionate about,” Rachel said.
Rachel Bilson isn’t the only famous celebrity to collaborate with BeachMint. In October 2010, Kate Bosworth and her stylist, Cher Coulter designed BeachMint’s first fashion e-commerce site called JewelMint. Later, in July 2011, sisters Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen launched an exclusive t-shirt collection on StyleMint.
Then, in October 2011, Jessica Simpson launched BeautyMint alongside Beverly Hills skincare expert, Nerida Joy. The website is a personalized skincare system that combines advanced anti-aging technology and science with natural ingredients. “My hope for any woman that uses BeautyMint is that they can find that confidence, that they can see results and know how beautiful they are and feel beautiful on the inside and out,” Jessica said in a testimonial video.
ShoeMint will follow the same rule as all the above mentioned verticals and will offer monthly shoes to its members. All ShoeMint shoes will retail for $79.99. “At BeachMint, we believe everyone should have the ability to have access to quality products designed and created by the best influencers and experts,” BeachMint President, Diego Berdakin, said.
