Nicole Scherzinger Shares Diet Plan with Shape December 2011

Obtaining a super-hot body like Nicole Scherzinger has is every single woman’s dream, yet it seems that achieving it isn’t so easy and requires hard work and passes the “just good genes” theory, as gorgeous Nicole Scherzinger reveals to Shape Magazine. The beautiful diva covers Shape, December 2011 and sits down for a chat with the magazine, revealing her lifestyle secrets and diet plan of getting that flawless physique, which is envied by millions of women worldwide. Actually it’s all about balancing and moderation, as she states, so take a look at the interview and learn how to look like Nicole!


As Nicole Scherzinger reveals, it took her lots of work and time to get to where she is now. She started jogging and calorie counting, when she was still 14, and obviously all the hard work paid off, as she is now 33 and looks amazing and stunning as ever. She tells Shape that: “It’s taken a long time to get here. I started jogging and counting calories when I was just 14. I’ve been on every diet you can imagine. By the time I was in the Pussycat Dolls, I was on the scale all the time. It became my enemy because I noticed that when I exercised really hard, I’d gain weight. Now that I’m in my 30s, I’ve stepped off the scale – I just go by how my clothes fit. I’m more accepting of my body and have learned to really embrace it.”
Seems like Nicole has been keen to cover Shape for quite a while now, as she states that fitness and health are very important for her. She believes this combo “means everything, having not only a strong body but a strong mind and spirit – it’s really empowering.”
As Nicole Scherzinger puts it, having the perfect balance between healthy eating and exercising lets you satisfy your cravings, and she’s no indifferent towards cravings as well. As she tells the magazine: “To really satisfy my cravings, I turn to my roots. I was born in Hawaii, so I love dried tuna dipped in soy sauce, kalua pig, banana pancakes with coconut syrup, and chocolate-covered macadamia nuts. My gosh, I could gain 10 pounds just talking about these foods!”
Although Nicole looks like she could eat only crumbs and feel no more hungry, she says that she eats quite much and she tries to stick to her breakfast, lunch and dinner even when she has a crazy schedule. She tells Shape that: “Actually, I eat – a lot! Even with my crazy schedule, I never skip meals. I’ll often have soft-boiled eggs, smoked salmon and whole wheat toast for breakfast; cold cuts, veggies and fruit for lunch; and usually chicken or fish with rice and more vegetables for dinner.”


Nicole also has some other secret that works fine for keeping such a flawless body and that is dancing. Dancing is a wonderful way for shedding extra pounds, while having fun, so it can be considered a gorgeous exercise routine.
Kicking it up a notch before a video shoot or a tour really helps Nicole a lot, as she reveals: “When I’m getting ready for a tour or a video shoot, I throw myself full throttle into my work, and those extra 10 pounds just seem to melt off. I also have a resistance workout that does wonders for my arms and abs.”
Moreover, Nicole Scherzinger’s new motto helps her keep herself on healthy mode and this motto is “stay active, eat everything in moderation, and stop being so tough on myself”. So simple, isn’t it? So try to follow Nicole’s advice and get the body you have always been dreaming of!
