Lovely Miley Cyrus lands on the cover of Marie Claire’s September 2012 issue. Inside the magazine, the 19-year-old singer talks about her life, love and fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. In fact, now Miley is having a prosperous moment in her life. With a new album in sight and her engagement with Liam, she has said good bye to Hannah Montana and entered a new serious stage in life. Talking about her personal style, Miley says that: “To be honest, my style is actually not really changed that much. I still like the same things. I think, maybe I’ve gotten a little bit more confident with my style. I think that’s being comfortable with who you are and sexuality. And I’m also comfortable with that.”
On her worst character trait, the young star says: “I get a little bit obsessed when I can’t let things go. That would probably be my one.” What about her best quality? “My best is that I can usually make someone laugh if they are having a bad day. I always look for a person like that in my life.”
It’s already three years, Miley has been dating Liam and now the two seem to be about to tie the knot. On the question whether she isn’t too young for such a serious step, she said: “Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with. I don’t really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we’ve made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement,” Miley told Marie Claire.
“Liam and I have a really good relationship . . . neither of us is superjealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other.”
As for her engagement ring, Miley says that, “I had no input. We’d been kind of talking about [getting engaged], and I saw something like it online at one point and thought it was really pretty, but I usually wear rose gold. I just love that it’s old and has a story. And I’m happy because it doesn’t look like anything else I wear.”
Now the couple lives in the 8,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa, where Cyrus’ family once lived. Miley has four rescue dogs and a bulldog, the name of which is Ziggy. Talking about Ziggy, she said: “She’s a stubborn little bi**h, that one,” Cyrus says. “She doesn’t listen to me. She’s in love with Liam. She loves me when he’s gone, but she totally ate my diamonds on purpose. She was pooping them out all morning!”
