The end of April was full of pleasant surprises for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, as finally the popular singer gave birth to their twins. The twins were born on April 30, 2011, last Saturday at an undisclosed hospital in L.A. The world welcomed the baby girl first, and a few minutes later the baby boy. As Mariah had suffered a miscarriage before, she didn’t want to make the rumors about her pregnancy official to public, until her baby bump began to reveal. She was getting fuller and fuller and the couple was still keeping this fact in secret. Finally when the world became aware of this wonderful news, the couple received millions of congratulations, as nothing is more wonderful and important, than becoming a parent.
Though it was expected that Mariah would be more anxious at the fact that she was already delivering, it was Nick Cannon who was sweating on the way to the hospital in their Rolls Royce Phantom. As for Mariah, she kept quite calm, thinking that it was another false alarm.
According to the Associated Press, the girl came the first, weighing 5 lbs. 3 oz and measuring 18 inches long, and then the baby boy followed, who was 5 lbs. 6 oz and measured 19 inches in length.
On this wonderful day the couple renewed their vows right at the hospital. Nick was extremely excited, and stated that Mariah has presented him with the most miraculous gift on their wedding anniversary.
“My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!”
“I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been in my life. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God’s Favor!!”
Nick Cannon expressed his great admiration in all the pregnant women in the world, especially in those, who have already many children.
As for the babies’ names, nothing has been revealed yet, except for the fact that Nick promised the names to be rather unique, but not crazy.
