The renowned Parisian brand Maison Michel, owned by Chanel, has amazed and allured everybody with its inimitable hats and marvelous hair accessories since 1936. Laetitia Crahay, who is the Head of accessories and jewelry at Chanel and Artistic Director of the Maison Michel, has created a wonderful collection of hats, hair accessories and, surely, its trademark bunny and cat ears for spring 2011. Take a look at the advertising campaign of the famous fashion brand and draw some inspiration for the warm days’ fashion.
The talented designer Karl Lagerfeld was selected to photograph the lookbook, who chose the cast of the beautiful and outstanding models, such as Irina Lazareanu, Leigh Lezark, gap-toothed gorgeous Ashley Smith and Tanga Moreau, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Olivier Theyskens, Anja Rubik, Jac, Bambi Northwood Blyth, Shu Pei Qin, or Karolina Kurkova, Lou Doillon and her son Marlowe, but also Mark Ronson with his girlfriend Josephine de la Baume, Leigh Lezark, Florrie Arnold, and Audrey Marnay.
The spring 2011 collection of Maison Michel contains catchy items and various versions of the famous elegant wide-brimmed hats, the best choice during rainy and extremely sunny days. Irina Lazareanu is demonstrating the cloches and special toppers, Florrie Arnold – the berets. Anja Rubik looks wonderful in the trilby hats, and the caps seem to be the best accessories for Abbey Lee Kershaw.
Besides different extraordinary hats, there are also lots of sweet jewels, headbands, bohemian floral hair pins, colorful girly bows and much more. We can see unique sculptural metal headbands, presented by Leigh Lezark, and a line of romantic jewel headbands with a touch of retro. There are special editions, designed for retailer Opening Ceremony, so hurry up to be among the first fashionizers to grab one.
