With three clothing lines, two web sites and multiple book deals with Harper Collins, Lauren Conrad has proven that she isn’t just a beautiful reality star, although first known for sharing her life publicly in MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills, but rather a real successful businesswoman, who is never standing in the same place. The 25-year-old young beauty has paved her own road by creating a gorgeous fashion brand and materializing her dreams. It’s always a great pleasure to see more and more new projects by Lauren and when she announced in her final post for Forbes Lifestyle that she’s now going to launch a beauty product line, everyone got quite excited at the news.
“What’s next? Quite a bit! Right now, one of my main objectives is to expand TheBeautyDepartment.com into a product line. I am currently researching all of my options, but should begin the process of executing an actual line very soon—stay tuned,” Lauren wrote in her lifestyle column in Forbes.
Moreover, Lauren has stated that she’s going to expand her brands and finish her fifth book. “I’m also focusing on expanding my other existing brands: LC Lauren Conrad, LaurenConrad.com and Paper Crown. On top of that, I’ll be working on completing my fifth book, The Fame Game,” she tells Forbes readers.
No wonder, Lauren is a talented fashion designer, New York Times bestselling author, owner of two websites and in addition to all this she’s appeared in numerous famous publications like Elle, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Rolling Stone, and Seventeen. Being a real inspiration for many girls worldwide, Lauren still confesses it wasn’t that easy to build a trustworthy enterprise. “Being a young businesswoman is a challenge, especially when you’re an alumna of the vacuous world of reality fantasy. I am proud of the fact that I have parlayed what could have been a fleeting reality career into viable business ventures,” she told Forbes
In her final post for Forbes Lifestyle, Lauren also gives some piece of precious advice to her readers and fans. “If nothing else, remember this: Do something that you love, surround yourself with people you trust, learn from your mistakes, work hard, and don’t let other people’s opinions of you become your limitations,” she wrote.
She also tells it’s quite natural to make mistakes, while growing up and evolving. “It’s important to make mistakes in your career, especially in the beginning. When you are just starting out you can make hasty decisions and take big chances since the stakes are rarely high early on. Trust me, it’s far better to learn those lessons sooner rather than later. By learning from failed opportunities, I’ve transformed past mistakes into flourishing brands and businesses. As basic as it may sound, learning from your mistakes is a vital part of becoming a successful entrepreneur,” Lauren says.
With future shining so bright, we can’t but help wait for Lauren’s all creations come to life, be it clothes, books or her latest project – beauty products!
