Onward with the new La Perla Spring/Summer 2012 Collection called “Collection Createur” that features the one and only iconic and extremely talented Jean Paul Gaultier. The collection features a series of beautiful, gorgeous, intricately designed beachwear and lingerie that will blow your mind. The spring/summer collection features bras and panties ruffled with the finest materials, intricate netting with Calais looms, baby doll and slips that really give out the “nude look” to the lingerie that we actually try to go for. It makes the lingerie look more sexy and beautiful and feminine- so make sure to have at least one of these. A new addition to the items that rather surprised me were the laser-perforated leather combinations. Tailored in the “theatrical” style with elastics and grosgrain, the collection is identified with Gaultier’s style of overlay of fine lace and laser-cut leather- aggressive, yet feminine and seductive.
The dominant colors of the collection are black, powdery pink, navy, khaki green, creamy hues that give the “Createur” a new and addictive look.
