Kate Moss for Liu Jo Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Ad Campaign

Stunning Kate Moss continues her collaboration with the world famous Italian label Liu Jo, started yet in the spring/summer 2011 season, and goes sexy, posing for the brand’s new fall/winter 2011/2012 ad campaign. Lensed by famous photographer Mario Sorrenti, the gorgeous supermodel strikes a pose not only for Liu Jo’s fall/winter 2011-2012 ad campaign, wearing elegant staples, but also for its Jeans and Bottom-Up collections. The advertising photos were shot in London in an old English villa in Notting Hill.

“Besides her remarkable beauty, charisma and her ability to stand out in a photo, Kate Moss is an opinion leader, an undisputable style icon. We wanted Kate as our spokesperson for so long, I think she has an image that is very much in synch with our brand. And I’m really proud of having her. She’s becoming even more magnetic as the interpret of our campaigns. Having a worldwide spokesperson like Kate allows us to obtain an extraordinary visibility: we’re setting out all our cards and we still want to evolve,” said Marco Marchi, owner and head of style of Liu Jo.
One of the dominant themes of the new Liu Jo fall/winter 2011/2012 collection is romantic floral prints and gorgeous patterns. The color palette contains mainly neutral and dark tones, which perfectly resemble ‘d’après nature’ paintings. Timeless black and sepia and skillfully combined with lighter tones, like elephant skin and rain. Flowers can also be spotted on brooches and buttons. Clear lines, delicate and comfy fabrics, but also precious materials have been used for tops, dresses and tunics.
“Cavalry deluxe” is the second theme of the collection, characterized through cold neutral tones of gray, sepia, and with bold touches of red and alga green. “Smoking Attitude” is the third theme of the new Liu Jo fashion line, which is described by a specific elegant vibe brought through its unique interpretation of the classic tuxedos. “Shabby Chic” is another theme building up the entire collection, which is characterized by a dreamy bohemian flair, created due to flowing volumes, mixes of colors and patterns, and embroideries. Beige, cold pink, turtle gray, champagne, cappuccino, light coffee, dust rode, or dark moka are the main colors used in this line.

As for the denim wear of Liu Jo, the latest Liu Jo Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Jeans collection appeals to bolder fashionizers, who aren’t afraid of being spotted for their unique and nonchalant style. The line brings versatile pieces both for daytime and evening wear.
The Bottom-Up collection has different fits to match different kind of body types. For the fall 2011 season, Liu Jo brings around 48 models characterized by 16 different washes, two of which being continuous.
