It’s quite common among many people, including celebrities to sign a prenuptial agreement, when getting married, thus ensuring their fortune. Nevertheless, the newlywed royal couple Kate Middleton and Prince William surprised the world by the fact, that they haven’t signed any prenuptial agreement to protect their property in case of divorce. Prince William was supposed to do so, as he has great assets to protect, however, he considered this to be useless, when getting married with Kate Middleton. William and Kate followed Prince Charles and Princess Diana and tried to keep things natural and traditional, without even thinking that they will ever split some day. What a great love and trustworthiness they might have for each other to do so!
According to the rumors, Prince William was never suggested to sign a prenup, that’s the reason things went this way. There have been divorces in the Royal Family before, and in case Kate and Will confront such a problem, they’ll have to turn to lawyers to come into an agreement.
Prince William earns about £37,000 a year as a Flight Lieutenant in the RAF. Additionally, he has inherited £6.5 million from his mother Princess Diana, when she died in 1997. This sum apparently has grown since then. Besides, William’s grandmother, The Queen Mother, has trusted two thirds of her money to her grandsons, William and Harry.
According to the reports, it’s Prince Charles, who pays for William’s household, thus William has not much to worry about. As for Catherine, she has resigned from her work to get ready for the Royal Wedding and she doesn’t work now. Apparently, b will get a great sum, in case of divorce. Anyways, let’s hope for the best, that both William and Catherine will never regret for their choice and will live happily with each other.
