It’s every woman’s dream to own at least one piece from a world-famous designer’s collection and it’s a double pleasure when this piece bears Karl Lagerfeld’s name on it. To make the dream of many women come true renowned fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has made it his target to create a low price fashion line that will be available for purchase online in January 25. And now he gives us a glimpse of what to expect from this much anticipated line by leaking a single teaser photo demonstrating some of the designs. Check out what the fashion godfather has prepared for us below!
Although Karl Lagerfeld has leaked a picture of his upcoming ‘Karl’ fashion collection, the entire line will be revealed only at the unveiling of the collection during Paris Couture Week on January 25th. Model Saskia de Brauw features in the leaked picture, wearing classic black pants and a metallic silver blouse worn under a sleeveless leather motorcycle vest. The picture reveals Karl’s trademark elements, like the fingerless black leather gloves and a detachable shirt collar, which add a super cool touch to the designs.
Net-a-Porter’s buying director Holli Rogers has labeled the Karl fashion collection as “effortlessly cool” and with “fantastic price points”, as WWD reports. The entire line is set to feature rock’n’roll accents and a strong up-to-date feel. There will be silk blouses, short dresses, T-shirt dresses, hooded sweatshirts, leather jackets and capri pants, all of which are extremely trendy and will dazzle the fashion pack. It has been reported that the ‘Karl’ fashion collection will feature pieces ranging between $95 to $450, while leather items will cost over $1000.
The upcoming ‘Karl’ fashion collection will be available online at Net-a-porter and after one month at karllagerfeld.com. Set to launch in January 25, 2012, the new “budget” collection coming from the renowned designer perfectly bears his unique, exquisite style imprinted all over the designs, and is sure to bring high-end glamour into everyone’s wardrobe.
