Although this might have been a tough year for gorgeous Jennifer Lopez in terms of her personal life, her endless talent, features and charisma have been constantly appreciated and recognized. Named the “Woman of the Year” by Glamour magazine and being the People’s “Most Beautiful”, J. Lo now graces the cover of the Glamour December 2011 issue. Looking absolutely dazzling and confident, classy, yet daring and undeniably sexy, Jennifer Lopez dishes on her style secrets, but also discusses her love life.
Just a single glance at the magazine photos remind us why stunning J. Lo always inspires lots of women worldwide with her incredible style. She talks about her style and how it evolved over the years and resulted into the uber-successful Kohl’s line, saying that: “The things I liked when I was, like, 16 and in the Bronx – jeans, cut-up T-shirts – I still like. But I’ve been exposed to so much now from traveling the world and seeing couture clothes. I used all of that when I created my new line for Kohl’s. My style has come from everything, from where I started to where I am today.”
Changing the subject and tackling more sensitive issues, the star shares some of the lessons that she feels are extremely important, when it comes to love and relationships: “I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all. You’ve got to love yourself first. You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything. And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.”
Her divorce from Marc Anthony was a great shock for the world, when first announced. And now the media is eagerly trying to find out if Jennifer Lopez is ready for a new dating scene, which apparently will be quite hard. Therefore, the starlet doesn’t exclude the possibility of trying to keep a new relationship in secret: “I think to give something a chance, to really get to know somebody, you want to do it out of the public eye. You know the media—they want to rush everything.”
