Relationships in Hollywood are quite challenging and we are no longer surprised to hear about different brack-ups. However, when the word goes about long lasting couples, who lived with each other for years without a single sign of trouble, the shock is even more obvious. One of such couples that recently surprised the world with their unexpected decision of getting divorced is Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, who have been married already for 7 years and have two children, 3 year old twins Max and Emme. 
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony made a brief joint statement about their decision for People.com and explained that their break up was definitely an amicable one: “We have decided to end our marriage,’ they said.’This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”
This news is even more shocking, as there were no signs noticed that something was going wrong between the two. Even more, when they last appeared in public on June 10, 2011, they seemed to be quite happy together. What’s the most surprising thing is that last year the couple renewed their vows.
Additionally, both Jennifer and Marc highlighted that they’d appreciate privacy during these hard times: ”It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”
Actually, this is the third time Jennifer Lopez is getting divorced, while Marc Anthony will experience a break-up already for the second time. Jennifer Lopez married in 1997 to Ojani Noa, then married again in 2001 with Cris Judd, one of her backup dancers. On the other hand, before getting married with Jennifer Lopez in 2004, Marc Anthony was married with former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres in 2000, with whom he got divorced two years later.
