Jason Wu for Target Spring 2012 Lookbook

The upcoming warm season is full of super-voguish collections and exciting collaborations and among the recent retailer designer collaborations that managed to tease fashionizers a lot and make them impatiently wait for its launch is the Jason Wu for Target spring 2012 collection. Finally the full lookbook of this attention-worthy line has been unveiled, giving us insight into what to expect from it. If the pieces featured in the upcoming Versace for H&M collection have opened your fashion appetite, and the Marni for H&M line made you long for colors, prints and elegance, the Jason Wu for Target collection awakens the fresh feel of spring in you. The Jason Wu for Target Spring 2012 Lookbook is already here, so check it out and indulge even more!

Although it might have been easier to just reflect the new season trends in this super-voguish line, the designer decided to choose another path and bring some novelty and practical approach to the fashion scene: “My goal was not to duplicate anything from my main collection… Instead I designed completely new clothes and accessories that reflect my taste and have a voice of their own.” No doubt, the designs are unique and feature a distinguishable gamine flair, putting the accent on the timeless factor, pops of color and flattering choices.
A fashion tip from the Jason Wu for Target spring 2012 collection – forget about loose, shapeless pieces in the new season and instead go for figure enhancing options that radiate elegance and ladylike allure. Although the collection’s main goal isn’t to chase the latest fashion trends, the lookbook demonstrates some interesting styles, like pleats, stripes, 70s prints and girly dresses. If feminine dresses can go with inconspicuous colors, when it comes to two piece outfits, the monochromatic scene becomes even more adventurous, the navy blue being the main focus.

The same practical factor has been preserved in the accessories section, where more subdued tones seem to be the norm. Handbags are designed to look summery and fresh, while shoes concentrate on comfort.
Another important note is the price range, which will simply make you go style crazy. Clothes will retail for prices, ranging from $19.99 to $59.99, while accessories will be available in the $19.99 to $49.99 range. Pretty good, isn’t it? So just mark your calendar for February 5 and make sure to be among the first luckiest fashionizers, who grab such stylish designer clothing at a cheap price. The Jason Wu for Target Spring 2012 collection will be available until March 6.
