The twisted updo itself comes in so many versions, like tousled, effortless ones and more refined and elegant updos. You can follow the latest hairstyle trends and give a seasonal update to it, thus appearing in a new, refreshed way. However, whatever style you choose, a side or middle parting, it’ll definitely indicate your great style sense and make you stand out in the plain crowd. From looser versions to slightly tighter ones, they look ultimately voguish and chic.
To sport a twisted updo, first apply some hair wax and then get the parting, whether a deep side, a side or a center one. You can also use the end of a rat tail comb to make a clean parting. Once done, roll the front section of one part into a twist and secure it at the nape of your neck. Repeat the same action with the other side as well. After it, loosely gather your hair back into a ponytail and twist hair up, tucking the ends in. Finally secure the updo with the help of bobby pins and use some hair spray. You can also give a unique finish to your twisted updo, using some sweet hair accessories.
