And now Hailee Steinfeld’s Miu Miu Fall 2011 ad campaign photos have been finally leaked, where the 14-year-old actress strikes a glamorous pose, looking highly feminine and elegant. She’s like a young girl, who is playing dress-ups, which, actually, gives Miu Miu’s fall 2011 campaign a certain amount of youthfulness and freshness, exactly like youth that can’t wait to grow up, like little feet that strive to fit into elegant high heels, which seem to swallow them. However, despite this character, Hailee appears to be so soft and innocent, that wins everyone’s admiration in an instance.
For selecting such a young model, Miu Miu was much criticized by people, who didn’t justify the brand’s decision, saying that their clothing may no longer seem appealing to the women, who actually liked it. However, despite criticism, the young actress brings a delicate and fresh touch to the collection, which no one else could do. Previously Miu Miu was represented by Maggie Gyllenhaal, Katie Holmes, Selma Blair, Chloe Sevigny, Vanessa Paradis, Lindsay Lohan, and Kirsten Dunst.
The first image of Hailee Steinfeld’s 2011 fall ad campaign for Miu Miu was released in June, where she was wearing a black, long-sleeved, swallow printed dress, matched with an oversized bag, dizzy black sandals, and retro sunglasses. The whimsical Hailee Steinfeld for Miu Miu campaign was lensed by Bruce Webber, in Miami, in May. She was like having quite much fun during the photo shoot. The “True Grit” actress said in a press release: “It’s so much fun to have the chance to work with such a gifted designer and wear these incredible clothes. I feel so lucky to be a part of it.”
In the campaign, Hailee appears to be more feminine and mature, wearing a red lipstick and elegant outfits. She poses on a railroad track, on the floor, surrounded by a sea of shoes, enjoying a slice of pizza, or in a field of grass.
Talking about their new muse, the brand’s representative said: “She is a girl who has the stature – in both senses – to carry these mature and elegant silhouettes whilst still remaining true to her youthful spirit. It is this timeless exuberance in attitude and strength of character that is sort in all Miu Miu women, both surpassing and diminishing years.”
After the campaign, Hailee was spotted wearing Miu Miu clothes at different events. Steinfeld’s stylist Karla Welch told The Daily Beast: “We formed a relationship with them at the SAG Awards. Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season, they were the dresses she wanted to wear.”
