The beautiful actress will start her career in the advertising campaigns of the fragrance in September this year. Eva will really be the perfect embodiment of the scent’s irresistible and explosive qualities thanks to her extreme femininity and sex-appeal. Perhaps no one will deny that the 36-year-old radiant actress really smokes hot.
According to the Fashion Telegraph, the company stated: “While Naomi Watts’ ethereal beauty embodied the angelic aspect of the fragrance, Thierry Mugler chose to reignite the enticing and explosive dimensions of the fragrance with the sultry Mendes. Though her obviously flawless physical beauty is in perfect harmony with the artist’s aesthetic canon, Ms. Mendes mesmerized Mugler with her independence, determination and humor.”
Since 1992, the perfume has constantly changed their spokesmodels ever few years. The French actress Estelle Lefébure was the first one to represent the brand, who was followed by the American actress Jerry Hall. Later in 1998 Amy Wesson began to feature in the ads, and in 2003 – Anna Maria Cseh. In 2006, the Italian model Bianca Balti continued to feature in the ads for “Angel”, while Naomi Watts was officially announced as the face of the scen in 2008.
We can see that the history of the perfume in the matter of its spokesmodels is really a turbulent one. And now it’s time for Eva Mendes to perform her great talent and beauty in the advertising campaign. Additionally, Eva has become the face of Reebok EasyTone Apparel collection, the global ambassador of Reebok and the Reetoners for the EasyTone spring/summer 2011 collection, a great line of footwear and apparel.
