Overly conservative outfits and a careful attitude towards color choices were the two concepts that were generally left aside during the Milan Fashion Week spring/summer 2012, which was more into a kaleidoscope of dazzling prints, daring colors and a certain cultural reference, among which the beautiful modern gypsy style was more than evident. This was also true for the new spring 2012 collection of Peter Dundas, creative director for the luxurious Emilio Pucci brand, who went for eye-catching prints and colors, ethereal fabrics, gypsy-like silhouettes and bare midriffs. Featuring both ultra-colorful and flirty casual outfits and more elegant options, the amazing Emilio Pucci spring 2012 collection, showcased during Milan Fashion Week, strongly defined the upcoming season as a real edgy spring.
Peter Dundas kept the rock and roll inspired glam for the Emilio Pucci spring 2012 collection, spicing things up with the gypsy-inspired theme. The rich line of charming feminine outfits immediately recall the gypsy style, especially if we examine the long flowing skirts that were presented in the beginning of the show. Widening the silhouettes and adding length, the designer pictures the modern Pucci woman in sheer skirts and lace embroidered blouses, embedded with colorful, 70s inspired prints, but also in big ruffles, waist-tied sashes and mid-drift baring tops for a sexy feel.
No wonder, the designer wanted to highlight sexiness to the max in his spring 2012 collection, which is revealed thanks to those daring pieces along with the sheer details. Eclectic prints used come to add the right amount of diversity to the looks, making them really impressive and exquisite.
Besides organza, chiffon and lace have also been used, when it comes to the fabric choice, taking things to completely a new level. Fabulous accessories such as oversized earrings, sexy stilettos, attention-grabbing necklaces or gorgeous clutches came to complete the looks in a stylish way, making them even more memorable and incredible. From ultra-fashionable day outfits, elegant day ensembles and sophisticated evening dresses, the designs featured in the Emilio Pucci spring 2012 collection captured everyone’s hearts and be sure yours too!
