CHANEL Designer Karl Lagerfeld Dies At 85

In devastating news for the fashion industry, the iconic Karl Lagerfeld, has passed away. He was 85 years old.

CHANEL confirmed Lagerfeld’s death stating, “It is with deep sadness that the House of CHANEL announces the passing of Karl Lagerfeld, the Creative Director for the CHANEL Fashion House since 1983…The House of CHANEL offers his family, relatives and friends its deepest condolences.”

It was reported Lagerfeld was admitted to the American Hospital in Paris on Monday and died Tuesday.

Many celebrities and members of the fashion world have shared their condolences and emotions after this great loss.
