If you have been one of the biggest fans of Brad Pitt still from your teenage years and you still admire the alluring charm and great talent this Hollywood star possesses, you have the chance now to take a look at the inside of Brad Pitt’s World, as the 47-year-old stud appears on the cover of Parade magazine, September 2011 issue. In the interview with the magazine, Brad talks about his life, his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, but also his relationships with Angelina Jolie, stardom and marriage.
Brad Pitt has spent almost half of his life in the spotlight and as he states it, it wasn’t so difficult for him to adjust to stardom. The handsome actor has dated some of the hottest celebs in Hollywood, but the Aniston/Pitt/Jolie love triangle has gained most of the attention from the media.
The world was just shocked, when in 2005 it was revealed Brad and Jennifer were getting divorced and that Brad was moving on to Angelina. Everyone was expecting he’d be back to Jennifer one day, however he is shooting all these rumors down by talking about his previous relationships with Jennifer Aniston and his current life with Jolie.
Although the Brad/Jennifer couple seemed to be the happiest and luckiest one in the world, Brad reveals that things weren’t as they looked: “I spent the ‘90s trying to hide out, trying to duck the full celebrity cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”
Since then things have taken an unexpected turn and now Brad lives happily with his ex-co-star from Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Angelina Jolie and with their six children. Brad states he’s a satisfied man now, as he has finally found the woman he loves: “I put much more emphasis on being a satisfied man. I’m satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much. A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. … That’s the trade-off. But I’ll take it all.”
He says that he’s made the best choice ever to pick Angelina to start a family with and adds that, “one of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I’m so happy to have her.”
To clear up all the rumors connected with their splitting, Brad Pitt tells the magazine that they aren’t going to split up and, moreover, they will tie the knot, when everyone else is free to do it. Brad and Angelina have been strong advocates of gay rights to marriage and they have stated they’ll never get married until everyone else, who wants, isn’t allowed to. He says: “I mean, how many stories have you read that aren’t true, stories about me and Angie being married or fighting or splitting up? And when we don’t split up, there’s a whole new round that we’ve made up and we’re back together again! We’ll get married when everyone can. We’re not splitting up. And we don’t have a seventh child yet.”
