Blanco Pre-Fall 2011 Lookbook

The transition from one season to another is sometimes very difficult for some fashionizers, especially when it’s from colorful, careless and bright summer days to gloomy, rainy and chilly fall days. For this reason our favorite designers do their best to create impressive, attractive and calling collections for the pre-fall season, which will immediately allure us with the same cheerful and colorful spirit as summer collections have. One of such brands is Blanco, which presents its super-duper “sunny” lookbook for the fall season, featuring gorgeous Russian model Anna Gushina, the former campaign face for DKNY, and Canadian male model Alex Loomans, the former ambassador for Massimo Dutti Sport. The result is even more exciting and incredible than we could ever imagine!

The Blanco Pre-Fall 2011 lookbook seems to incorporate most of the hottest trends of the fall/winter 2011/2012 season, bringing amazing leopard and star prints, snakeskin patterns, stripes and checks, denim, chunky knitwear, leather pieces, eye-popping brights, but also soft earth tones and clean, simple silhouettes. It has all the necessary items a voguish modern woman or man needs for building up impressive, simple, laid-back styles with the right amount of elegance.
Photographed by In House España, Anna is demonstrating looks that are extremely sophisticated in forms, feminine in details and chic in contrasts. Against a backdrop of sturdy, elegant wood, the bourdeaux, mustard and emerald green tones of the outfits create an amazing spectacular scene that instantly bewitches. The cheerful, colorful star prints, stripes and leopard patterns come as the best ingredients that will spice up all those stylish looks. Not such a big surprise, the fall season is packed with glamour and masculine touches, which is best highlighted through high collar shirts and a bow, feline prints or the combination of a blazer with shorts. As for timeless denim, it features a more relaxed look and cool touches of style.

Alex is sporting more college inspired looks. Rather informal, yet functional and comfortable, all those garments are perfect for a man, who likes a sporty style, combined with some classical details. This fall the nylon bomber jackets, along with colored pants, chinos and jeans in vibrant tones are once again the most colorful pieces in the collection.
As it could be expected the entire collection is flooded with knitwear both for men and women. With drop needle stitching versions or in compact knitted jerseys and cardigans, this element comes to crown a sassy woman’s wardrobe, while the male wardrobe will be glad to welcome more sober knitted pieces, such as classical blazers and sweaters.
In terms of accessories, the Blanco Pre-Fall 2011 lookbook gives preference to a more reserved style for each look, bringing just a few key pieces that will look elegant and refined and will round off the outfits with charm.
If you are for perfectly polished, simple, yet effective looks, the Blanco Pre-Fall 2011 collection will serve as a gorgeous source of inspiration for you to start building your new fall wardrobe in style.
