Beyoncé: House of Dereon Fall & Holiday 2011 Campaign

Get ready to be dazzled in the new season! Pop star Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles have launched two amazing campaigns for Beyoncé’s new House of Dereon clothing line, set to be launched in the UK this month. Stunning Beyoncé is herself staring in both of the campaigns, the photos of which will appear in international publications, such as InStyle UK, Rollacoaster, SuperSuper, and international editions of Vogue and Elle.
Beyoncé’s House of Dereon Holiday 2011 campaign was shot by famous fashion photographer, Terry Richardson at Standard Hotel in New York City. The campaign reveals her new amazing collection for the fall season based on Global Nomadic theme. Drawing inspiration from Beyoncé’s latest album 4, the House of Dereon Holiday 2011 campaign features her as a modern day nomadic woman of the world. Beyoncé looks extremely modern and luxurious in a sequined blazer worn over a draped mini skirt for one shot and a glamorous cocktail dress embellished with head wraps and chunky jewels in the other one.


The new House of Dereon Fall 2011 campaign was shot by popular celebrity photographer Tony Duran in Los Angeles, where Beyoncé looks utterly glamorous sporting all those classy items from her fall collection, titled “City Jungle”. According to Tina Knowles, the new fall/winter 2011/2012 collection is based on the theme of a “city jungle” with leopard, snake and African rose prints, which blend “tribal cues with edgy silhouettes”. In this campaign, Beyoncé is rocking a snake print hooded jumper with her hair styled in voluminous curls, also suede shorts and dolman sleeved printed chiffon blouse.
“The combination of colours, exotic prints and silhouettes make for a cohesive collection with tremendous appeal,” Tina said. “Beyoncé and I are so proud of the line-up and we can’t wait to see the consumer’s response and how she makes it her own.”
Beyoncé said in a statement, that “Working with Tony and Terry on these two separate campaigns was such an amazing experience. Their approach is so different, yet to me the end results are so beautiful in their own unique way.”

Beyonce’s new House of Dereon collections for the fall 2011 and holiday 2011 seasons will be available exclusively at Selfridges. Prices start at around £80 for a dress.
