Obviously I’m angry about the result and the way his tenure has gone. But honestly, I am angrier about how it’s ended up from what I felt was a really optimistic appointment. I remember these conversations under AVB (not that it got this bad) which was that the manager is clearly out of his depth and needs to go but….. that does not excuse the performances of the players which even if they didn’t have a manager should not be this bad. Two players booked for simulation in their own half, absolutely no movement off the ball. Kolo Muani the only player who didn’t completely disgrace themselves. We need to put out a youth team in the Champions League because this is the most danger we’ve been in since 1994.
