Donk played really badly all series. Pari were pretty good but Donk’s the reason Spirit lost. Half his usual mechanics. If he was in form this game even while being “antistratted” he’d have been hitting a ton of these kills he kept missing. New mouse cursed?

Yea both stars played shit so they lost. You could argue it to be a good sign because they made it very close against a pretty strong team off the back of Tnir and IGL Magixx firepower primarily, but I’d kind of prefer the stars function lol. At least it shows the objective of improving the firepower support behind Donk was somewhat effective. If either Donk or Shiro were playing properly they’d have won

Donk had a bad series but sh1ro was the bigger problem. On ancient parivision got most of their t-side rounds by abusing b-site and who was the guy usually defending that site with the awp and missing easy shots? Donk got countered hard on t-side, but that ct-side was not his fault.

I don’t think any T1 team is anywhere near as open about strategy and planning as Jame is; with the only “barrier” being language (even though his YouTube vids always have subtitles available) I think a lot of people could learn some cool intricacies of high-level CS by watching them for sure

I think one big stipulation Jame has had is that he actually does want to remain an awp along with his IGL responsibilities (which cuts out a lot of “easy” team swaps). Secondly, while he did pretty good in the post-match interview, his English has never been to the level that it seemed reasonable for him to be on an international roster (and I’m unsure if he intentionally wants to speak in his native language for IGL/strategy/etc purposes)

Maybe he wants yeah. I heard Jame a lot, he’s very good at English. In terms of AWPing, I think it’s a win to have such an IGL. People were forgiving cadiaN for his stats (HLTV even put him in top 20 once) but he was always one of the worst aside from some clutches. On average, Jame provides quite an upgrade, because he can actually both IGL and AWP.
