The keyword “border 2” has garnered significant search interest, exceeding 10,000 searches, largely due to recent developments surrounding the film’s release. A review highlighting the performances of Sunny Deol and Ahan Shetty has caught the attention of potential viewers, contributing to heightened curiosity and eagerness to learn more about the film. The positive critique is likely driving fans of the actors and the genre to search for additional information and showtimes.

Moreover, news of “Border 2” being set for post-midnight showings in theaters across the nation indicates a growing excitement and demand for the film. This strategy to increase viewership is typically employed for highly anticipated releases, fueling interest among moviegoers and prompting them to seek out details, availability, and tickets online.

Compounding this interest is the announcement that the teaser for “Dhurandhar 2” will not release alongside “Border 2.” This decision may lead fans and audiences to focus more on “Border 2,” creating a surge in searches as individuals speculate on the reasons and implications of this staggered release strategy. The combination of these factors suggests a convergence of interest that has driven a notable spike in online activity related to “Border 2.”

Unbiblical?? What did Mary and Joseph do when their new born son’s life was under threat by Herod’s decree to kill all male children under the age of 2 in Bethlehem? Do they read their bibles at all?

She loves to say things are unbiblical. How about what is UNCHRISTIAN? There are plenty of biblical things that aren’t Christian. She doesn’t know what being a Christ-follower is and what Jesus commands

Literally had one of those people tell me that they personally only believe in the old testament. Well, then don’t call yourself Christian if you don’t even believe in him 💀
J
J0hn_Keel • 36 points
Respectfully quite a lot of the Old Testament is totally unhinged if not paired with the mellow Jesus bits. Only being invested in the drowning the world and baby murder and dad rape portion probably says quite a lot about that person
O

Tbh it’s totally unhinged even with the mellow Jesus bits ngl
J
J0hn_Keel • 3 points
Well yes but Jesus in isolation seems pretty nice? Lol. My vague heathen understanding is that Jesus is basically “look forget all that shit, just be chill with each other and I’ll let you in” rather than harping on about slaughtering all your children if you don’t follow the rules. Which is why the whole thing altogether seems much more palatable to me than just the first bit

Odd-Thought-2273 • 19 points
Yep, there’s often a big difference between what is biblical and what is Christlike. I’m not religious anymore but I was always taught to be Christlike, which aligns with my “woke” values anyway. 🤷🏻‍♀️
J
jmoto123 • 9 points
Right?! I’m like please show me a place in the New Testament (besides the bad trip that is Revelation) where Jesus did harm to anyone???!!! Where Jesus armed himself and “fought” for his “nation.” Where he yelled at others to leave “His” country or where he celebrated others being hunted down and sent off to camps. They ARE the people Jesus railed against! It’s sick
M
metanoia29 • 7 points
I mean that’s the problem with their religion is that it’s so contradictorily from start to finish that anyone can use it for any position. The old testament is chock full of nationalism and fighting over territory and killing foreign citizens. It’s one of the most dangerous books in existence.

The new testament isn’t much better
E

Yeah, and there are all those verses about welcoming strangers. Sheesh.

AND What did Moses’ mom do when all Israeli children were getting killed?????
P

Only the part where Sky Cop tells Abraham “Kill your own son right now for absolutely no reason” and Abraham is like “Sure, you’re an authority figure and you did promise me political power, so I don’t see why not” and Sky Cop is like “Well, it was a test and YOU PASSED!!!” Plenty of interesting and even valuable stuff in the Bible, but like… canonically, THAT is the kind of person that God considers the worthiest man on Earth. No wonder it all turned out like… this.

That story was one that bothered me even as a child. I remember avoiding thinking about it because I didn’t want to ask myself if my parents would kill me if God asked them to (deep down I knew the answer was yes.)
J
jmoto123 • 30 points
The one that always got me was when god allowed every first born son of an entire nation to be killed by a death angel
S
Significant_Shoe_17 • 15 points
As the oldest, that one always bothered me, too.

I finally had the courage to ask my mother and thankfully she said “no” ❤️ But sadly she still hasn’t pieced it all together yet.

That is so messed up, I’m sorry. That book is a childhood trauma machine. (My parents weren’t really religious so I was spared that, but I remember reading it as a – deeply and inexplicably devout – child, and thinking “Ok, but if a person does that in real life, they’re either a psychopath or an obedient little soldier, like the Nazis. God would never want that. I’m sure angels dictated something at some point, but that screams human interference to me!”)

cwningen95 • 14 points
These days when someone says god told them to kill their child (hopefully, but not always, before/without them actually doing so), it’s rightfully treated as religious psychosis. I obviously don’t judge all followers of the Abrahamic religions as a monolith, but some of the content…
D
DungeonBotanist • 16 points
They do not. They just listen to the twisted versions their pastors yell at them every Sunday to fuel their hatred.
O
Odd-Thought-2273 • 4 points
If they even go to church. So many of these fundies don’t even attend a church because they can’t find one hateful enough for them. 🫠
T
TrimspaBB • 16 points
Not only that, she’s too ignorant to know that the idea of the nation state is actually quite modern, as in a product of the Enlightenment. The people who wrote and compiled the Bible had no concept of it, only tribal lands and kingdoms at best, with ethnicity and race being fluid. She’s just trying to shoehorn her own ideas about supremacy and order into her stated religion for conservative brownie points.

a key tenant of religion is not being well versed in the holy book because otherwise you would realize what a nonsensical clusterfuck they are
R

No, they don’t. Pam Bondi said Jesus wouldn’t protest in a church, which he did and flipped tables.
B
Boss-Not-Bossy • 2 points
Apparently, [she didn’t actually say that](https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/bondi-jesus-church-quote/) but I knee jerk believed she would too.

My eyes are rolling so hard they’re gonna fall out. They ALWAYS resort to “I never said that”. Trying to gaslight SMH.

Also, I don’t give a fuck if something is biblical or not because I’m not Christian and the US is not a Christian country. These so-called constitutionalists don’t even know the first amendment.
B
Boss-Not-Bossy • 6 points
They don’t read their bibles; instead they sit in a big room with other like minded people and a man stands at a podium and tells them what the bible says. At least that was my experience growing up in church. It was when I started reading my bible for myself and reading the passages around the cherry picked one being preached on that my conflicts with churches began. Like everything I was ever taught about the end of days; the same things that are making Christians freak out that these are the end times. You try to find all of that in the bible and you can’t. What you end up finding is all imagery and metaphor. You can choose your own apocalypse adventure with the way it’s written, in my opinion. And people who think the world is more evil than it’s ever been ignore history, frankly. We’ve always been cruel to each other, now we hear about it instantaneously.

The Leaving Eden podcast did an either 3 or 5 episode series on the book of Revelation, trying to look at it logically – I grew up going to a Scottish Episcopal church & barely knew any of it for a variety of reasons but that book is bloody mental! And it makes no sense imho. It’s well worth listening to, as is the podcast in general (& they’re now on YouTube too).

I still get the occasional rapture/end times-related anxiety attack, even though I’ve been deconstructing aspects of that for years. It’s no longer an automatic panic trigger, thank goodness. Lately I’ve found myself asking “if you’re ’helping it along’ can you really call it a sign of the times?” Is it *really* Satan at work or is it cruel men who are enjoying acting out their cruelty on marginalized people and others who stand in their way? I believe we all have free will, and right now a lot of people seem to be exercising that in the name of what they think God would have them to do. As a Christian myself, there’s no way Jesus would stand for or support what’s currently going on.

“Unbiblical”…. “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.” -Deuteronomy 10:18 “The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” -Leviticus 19:34

Allie always reminds me of this quote from the movie The Help (and yes, I know this movie is problematic on several levels, but I think this quote is relevant): “All you do is scare and lie to try to get what you want. You’re a godless woman. Ain’t you tired, Miss Hilly? Ain’t you tired?”
S

Born in a stable while his parents were away from where they lived. They’d label him an illegal and send him to die in ICE custody. Not to mention, Jesus was a person of color. They won’t be able to reconcile that he wasn’t white

I saw the photo of that little boy for the first time yesterday during The Tim & April Show livestream & I immediately started crying. I’m not even in the US but my heart broke for that little guy. How can anyone look at him & not feel compassion? I suppose ABS would just say that’s toxic empathy. If she genuinely doesn’t have those kinds of emotions, I worry for her children.
