The topic of “Roger Craig” is currently trending due to his recent selection for the Hall of Fame, which has generated significant interest among fans and sports enthusiasts. The announcement of his induction has prompted a surge in searches, as many are keen to learn more about his career and the impact he made during his time with the San Francisco 49ers.

Recent articles, including one from 49ers.com, highlight Craig’s illustrious career and contributions to the team, further stoking interest in his Hall of Fame recognition. Coverage of his achievements, particularly in the context of the upcoming Hall of Fame event, has likely motivated both long-time fans and newer audiences to seek out information about his playing days and accolades.

Additionally, the broader narrative around this year’s Hall of Fame class, which includes prominent players like Drew Brees and Larry Fitzgerald, has captured the attention of the football community. As Craig’s induction coincides with this notable event, it has led to increased searches specifically focused on his legacy and role in football history.

You never saw Brett Favre play? He played up until 2010
T
TheToxicBreezeYF • 1 points
Why are you assuming i didnt? All i said was that entries have slowly gone from 0 players i watch to the current entry have 4 players i watched. That means there are entries that have 1 player ive seen, some had 2, some had 3.

Is Roger Craig dead? Why is he the only black and white pic? (I just googled it, he isn’t)
T
TheToxicBreezeYF • 27 points
I guess to indicate a different era? He played from 83-93 while all the others were post 2000

I remember when we finally got moving pictures during games in 1993. People ran in terror thinking Reggie White was running at them.

He was the only one on the Contributors/Coaches/Seniors ballot to make it, probably just a way to separate that out. The rest are from the regular voting ballot.

There was a former MLB pitcher and manager named Roger Craig who died few years ago, but it was a different guy
M

Are we sure?🤔
B
BonesCrosby • 1 points
Fun coincidence: MLB Roger Craig managed the SF Giants at the same time NFL player Roger Craig played for the 49ers.
W
wolf63rs • 1 points
And people use to get them confused. In fact, one season when play overlaps (September) the Roger Craigs swapped roles. Craig rushed for 115 and a TD, caught 7 passed for 85 and a 20 yard TD. Craig managed a double header win. What a day for the Craigs!
B
BonesCrosby • 1 points
It wasn’t until today that I realized the overlap, but it’s a tier 1 Fun Fact
R

It’s the past. Everything from the past is in black and white. All of Europe and parts of Asia are in black and white. Modern pictures of those areas are just colored by AI.
S
soybeankilla • 1 points
Because he’s dead to Bill Belichick.
L
Long-Region5088 • 1 points
Is it not just a pic from his playing days?
C
Confident_Jacket_344 • 1 points
How is he not already in the Hall of Fame? I honestly thought he made it in with his 80s 49er mates.
D
Deep-Penalty5791 • 1 points
He wasn’t that good
L

My boy, Yanda, should be in, but the voters hate offensive linemen, especially interior linemen…
B

My boy Kevin Williams is a 5x all pro and still not in
N

He’ll get in two first ballot offensive star hurt his chance.
B

From what I saw he was one of the final cuts along with Suggs and Anderson. So the ravens really got shafted
