A brand new competition series, “Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid,” premieres January 11 on Lifetime. Starring the former model and mother to 3 models, Yolanda Hadid (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) shares her expertise with aspiring teen models and their mothers.
“In the cutthroat world of modeling, every aspiring beauty needs support, guidance and sometimes an nudge down the runway,” says a Lifetime press release, “As the mother and agent to fashion’s “IT” girls Gigi and Bella, and model son Anwar, Yolanda and her trusted team of experts will put the girls and their “momagers” through an intensive eight week training program, focused on the physical, mental and emotional wellness that it takes to build a sustainable brand.”
The 8-episode season includes special appearances from Gigi and Bella Hadid as well as designers Tommy Hilfiger and Nicole Miller. Each week a $5,000 prize can be won and put toward a model’s future career, but only the last model standing will win a management contract with Yolanda’s company and the potential opportunity to be represented by IMG Models in New York.
