Roberto Cavalli explained pre-show what the Just Cavalli line is about. “This is a very young collection but with the DNA of Roberto Cavalli,” he said. “I tried to interpret the feeling I had when I started out, but make it for a new generation.”
The designer’s Just Cavalli line never tries to stay away from prints, colors and flashiness, and the new spring 2012 collection was literally flooded with exuberant patterns including wild animal and romantic bohemian prints, as well as gold and metallic touches. Oversized floppy hats peculiar to the signature Cavalli ‘70s flair were also present in the collection.
