Brazilian gorgeous model Gisele Bündchen has scored another deal, this time becoming the new face of the global brand Esprit and modeling for their new fall/winter 2011/2012 campaign, called “Iconic Styles”, which is directed by H&M’s former executives Jörgen Andersson and Jan Nord. Photographed by David Sims and styled by French fashion stylist Camille Bidault-Waddington, the 31-year-old supermodel sports natural and fresh looks, wearing some of the brand’s new iconic outfits, such as man-tailored camel coats, aviator and leather jackets, button shirts and pants, skirts and tees, all in one word, everything a modern woman needs to create effortless casual chic looks.
According to a press release, Gisele was chosen because she “embodies easy elegance, charisma and naturalness and is therefore perfectly suited to the Californian spirit of the brand”. And indeed, who could embody this iconic collection better than such an iconic model?
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel, who has proved that she’s not only another pretty face with a flawless body, but also a smart and classy woman, has been ranked by Forbes as the world’s highest-paid supermodel and she also ranked 3rd on The 20 Youngest Power Women of 2011 List.
Esprit has always been known for its affordable luxury and youthful style, no matter it’s casual or dressier outfits. For the latest collection the brand seems to go back to its roots and bring lots of fundamental pieces for every woman’s wardrobe, timeless old faithfuls that look utterly elegant and chic, fresh and polished. Casual, business and glamour make the main three styles, featured in the collection. As John Gunn, continental president of Esprit North America stated, “Our target consumer is now a woman who is forever 30.”
Modeling in a camel coat from the Esprit Collection, a jacket from Women Casual and an aviator leather jacket from de.corp Collection, Gisele proves that simplicity is eternal and that clean lines always look elegant, whether it’s a daytime or a special look. For the Esprit fall/winter 2011 collection, Esprit concentrates on classic pieces, spicing them up with a modern twist. English photographer David Sims focuses on jackets and coats, thus revealing some of the trendiest essentials, we should pay attention to in the cold season.
