It is quite worrying though, since the Villa game our midfield and attack feels like it has completely ran out of ideas.. fear seems to be creeping in too, too many backwards and safe passes. Saliba messed us up a bit today, but the big issue is we still can’t score unless its a set piece, and as the season goes on we’re going to have less success with set pieces as others learn how to defend. Another major one is how many goals we concede immediately after we score. We relax, this is a mindset that needs to stop. We’re playing great football but cant score, everyone just wants to pass to someone, our only hope for goals is Martinelli and occasionally Jesus. Weve been lucky so far…

I agree you lean massively on set pieces for goals and you’ve got a good defence with a strong squad in all areas but you don’t play great football – I think most PL fans will agree it’s rather boring watching arteta’s brand of ball reminds me of a LVG team.. structured but in a rigid sense, lack of risk taking, a lot of sideways passing, defensive player roles for majority of attacking players.

This is both on the players and the manager. The player they look too careful, afraid to duel, made mistakes a lot, so uncreative. We resort to corner everytime we need a goal. That’s not how it should be, you attck, create chances and if it fails the score frok the corner that resulted from your failed chances. Right now we just seems to attack to find corner. That’s not gonna bring you trophy. The manager, I dont know did they watch the City game and just think it’s a blip and wont happen to them? This is a very naive approach. The team looks unprepared and tired. 3 games in a row with no win, this is not a league leader form.
