We are so sloooow, holy hell. The back 4 and Rice (2nd half) the biggest offenders today. But everyone were either having to many touches or lumping it. Just awful. I dislike the tactic of putting someone between Gyo and the left&right wing, usually it’s been fullbacks but today it was Rice and Ødegaard essentially taking them both out of the game. Feel like it’s asking for teams to play with bus parked, at least try to get them out? Or drag them out with movement. And with that you get Gabriel and Saliba far to much on ball and you have nobody to progress the ball quickly. But we still created enough to win the game.. but yeah we are to slow with the ball and the wrong people are being ‘forced’ to be the creative outlets. Frustrating.

honestly, only Saka and Trossard were being rotated in the lineup. And it’s vs 17th placed team in league. Martinelli and Gyokeres should have done better and would have finished the game off. Gyokeres just isn’t up to par. I thought it’d get better after he scored goal vs Sanchez’s spill but it’s pretty clear now he can’t even win footrace vs PL defenders on backfoot after a mistake. His 1st and 2nd touch was so horrible it took all momentum away as well and it’s clearest gift you can ever get really. His basics are lacking and his physicality is average in PL at best. Combined with him ranking at bottom percentile in almost all of striker stats… is just abysmal.

Is this how we want to decide a title? We could have gone 11 clear and we played 2 not good sides. Liverpool we created maybe 1/2 chances and today we created maybe 2/3 at best.
