Saks Fifth Avenue is currently trending with over 50,000 searches largely due to the recent news of the company filing for bankruptcy following its acquisition by Neiman Marcus. This significant event has captured public attention as it indicates substantial changes within a well-known brand in the retail sector. The bankruptcy filing raises questions about the future of the iconic department store and its operations.

Additionally, media coverage on Saks Fifth Avenue’s ongoing designer sale, which features discounts of up to $1,320 on brands like Dior and Givenchy, has likely contributed to the spike in search interest. Shoppers may be curious about the sale in light of the bankruptcy, prompting them to seek information on current promotions and potential sales opportunities before any further changes occur.

Moreover, a firsthand account published by Business Insider detailed a visit to Saks Fifth Avenue just before its bankruptcy filing, emphasizing the struggles the department store faced. This firsthand reporting may have heightened awareness and concern about the store’s situation, prompting consumers to搜寻more information regarding its financial state and available products.

Pretty sure Seattle has burned down multiple times since then. I’ve lost count at this point. I have zero issues walking around downtown at night to early morning. Just use the same awareness you would have in any major city and don’t just put in your headphones and ignore what is going on around you.

Pike Place. Saying Pike’s Place is more of a danger to you than visiting at night.

you’ll be fine. maybe walk up stewart or olive instead of pike or pine. Most of the stuff at the market is closed by 6 so I guess, bear that in mind.

Ignoring the jokers… It’s safe, but might not \*feel\* safe if open drug use and people camping on the sidewalks makes you uncomfortable, which is a legitimate concern. I live downtown and walk around at all times of the night and never feel unsafe. Most of the people on the street keep to themselves or are too out of it to notice. But just be alert. Also, the market closes down after 5 pretty much and while it is nice to stroll around in there when it is closed up there’s not much to do except a few bars (which are mostly excellent). While you are here check out the new waterfront during the day.

Thanks, man. I really appreciate that. Things must have changed, because I don’t recall seeing any drug activity and only a small smattering of homeless last time I was there.

You’ll be fine. By night do you mean 3am or 8pm? There’s some streets I avoid walking through specifically late at night, usually 2nd and 3rd avenue. I prefer walking on the side of the road that is better lit. So far that’s been enough to stay safe.

Who are you and what time of night? I’m a big, ugly, angry-looking MF. I’d do this in the evening. I wouldn’t let my wife do it alone. I also wouldn’t do it myself alone after about 10 pm if I were less than sober. If you want more of the same, take a bus up north and saunter up Aurora from maybe 80th to about 105th. You’ll get offered all sorts of fun activities!

So, a couple of things: 1) people on here are probably going to give you grief because you said “Pike’s Place” when it’s actually Pike Place, but no worries because it’s an incredibly common mistake to make! 2) as someone else pointed out, there’s a difference between walking around at 8pm and 3am, but probably you won’t be doing super late nights, in which case you’ll be fine. Normal city rules apply – know where you’re going before you leave, be aware of your surroundings (and don’t be afraid to cross the street if something feels off), leave any valuables you won’t need in your hotel room, and keep your purse/wallet secured.

I walk around there all the time. It’s well lit and there’s few people around at night. But if you’re not comfortable in urban areas, ya might get nervous.

Where is this Pike’s place you speak of? That’d help us give you a better answer since then we’d know where that is in proximity to The Westin.

Sorry for the grievous slight. I’ll flagellate myself when I get home from work.
