The keyword “bucks vs magic” is currently trending with over 10,000 searches, primarily due to the upcoming matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Orlando Magic, as reported in recent news signals. This specific game is generating significant interest among basketball fans, particularly because it highlights a key moment in the NBA season.

One of the notable factors contributing to this heightened search interest is the pregame interview with Jamahl Mosley, the head coach of the Orlando Magic. Coaches’ insights often draw fans’ attention, as they provide insights into game strategy and player readiness, which can greatly affect the outcome of such matchups.

Additionally, the article from Sports Illustrated emphasizes the potential impact of player Franz Wagner’s return to the lineup. His return is seen as a significant factor that could influence the game dynamics, particularly in how the Magic might perform against the Bucks. This adds an extra layer of intrigue and speculation, prompting fans to search for more information about the game and its implications.

Together, these news signals indicate that fans are anticipating the game’s potential impact on both teams’ performances, which is resulting in a surge of online searches as they seek updates and insights related to this matchup.

According to Gemini when asked about emulation: “In 2026, *inFamous 2* has finally crossed the threshold from “barely running” to being **fully playable** on PC, but it remains one of the most CPU-intensive titles in the entire PS3 library.” And 2nd son is still being worked on, since its PS4 and not 3. EDIT: Just letting folks know that right before typing this, I was asking Gemini about emulation and where they’re up to anyways. There might be better ways to play these games, this was just an idea.

I mean for 2nd son Sony should just put it on Steam. They’ve put a bunch of their games from that era on Steam already so why not?

I was a kid during the Killzone, Resistance, Gears of War run back during the 2000’s and 2010’s. I never got a chance to try them out, and I’ve been waiting for years for a modern console or PC port for a chance. Trust me when I say this, and know I hate it as much as you, but don’t hold your breath on any them coming to PC any time soon.
T
the_real_papyrus99 • 7 points
I imagine it has something to do with a lot of gameplay and gimmicks involve the PS4 controller’s trackpad thing and gyro controls, and not really having a good alternative without redesigning the way the events work or making them automatic
G
Gussie-Ascendent • 8 points
i don’t want emulation, i wanna be able to like open the steam store and just straight download the thing

oceanbilly710 • 3 points
I can confirm it does work but it runs….okay. I ripped my ps3 disc to my PC when my ps3 took a shit and replayed most of it on PC. The resolution was a bit wonky and there was some lag but it was fine.

Such a good fucking game. Still probably in my top 5

I’d kill for a PC port of the first 2 games.

OP must feel lucky that Second Son retconned the genocide of Conduits of the good ending.
P
PurveyorOfKnowledge0 • 24 points
Which is BS because the whole point of the ending was, “End of Humanity Only Saved by Conduits not Existing”. Turns out Conduits came back anyway, Cole gets slandered as a terrorist, and any Conduits left get rounded up into camps.
C
ChrisPrkr95 • 4 points
It really doesn’t make sense though. The conduits in Second Son should all be dead. The RFI’s blast was worldwide.

I feel like you missed the message of Infamous 2. The whole game is about how sometimes you’re forced into unfair situations and have to make the most of a bad scenario. To that end, you have the choice selfless or selfish. Cole sacrificing himself isn’t him proving the militia right. In fact, he’s doing the exact opposite by taking both himself and The Beast down when he could’ve just sided with The Beast and conquered the world. And we’re not supposed to feel like Kuo is a coward or a bad person for wanting to live, but more just “if Kuo is going to side with The Beast, then we have to consider her an enemy.” That said though, I’m pretty sure Cole and Nix make an effort to not outright kill her, and she even admits that she’s just afraid to die, but acknowledges that what Cole is doing is the right thing. I’m just really confused how you arrived at this conclusion

People get upset at literally every game that has an ending where the MC dies. It’s called Player Identification, when the boundary between the player and the character blurs, and the player begins to perceive the character’s actions, successes, and failures as their own. Now think about how many people you know would just not be cool with sacrificing themselves to save literally anything or anyone.

I mean I hated when John died in Red Dead Redemption and I didn’t identify with him at all, we are not similar in nearly any way. He sacrificed himself to buy time for his family to escape, but I hated it because John worked *so* hard for his happy ending… but the Pinkertons were never going to let him have it, even after all he’d done for them. He’d always be a damn bandit who should swing from the ropes in their eyes. And that tragic unfairness hurt a lot. Even though I found it a satisfying end to his story, I still hated it.

ZENZEL72 • 55 points
Plus his death is what pushes Jack to become something that John never wanted for him in the first place, an outlaw
E
ExpendableUnit123 • 23 points
Not saying you are, but it was proven somewhere that particularly American audiences are just not good with anything other than a happy ending. I am Legend famously had to have its ending altered for American audiences because the canon ending upset too many. Personally I love doomed and tragic stories. The world isn’t fair and sometimes that and bad luck and betrayal all happen. I find it ballsy when a story does it provided it isn’t done purely for shock value.
C
CaptainCastaleos • 9 points
It probably has to do with general dissatisfaction already present in the average American life. Statistically Americans are pretty unhappy with their lives currently. Many go to the movies to escape subtle feelings of despair and watch tales of rare instances of someone actually beating the odds and winning. Seeing a movie where the protagonist either doesn’t beat the odds or has to give up literally everything just to make a difference just don’t ring with American audiences as entertaining, as they don’t offer the escape that they are seeking.

What people often forget about stories like that is it’s _supposed_ to hurt. It’s a deep emotion that the game is able to make you feel, and that’s special and a sign of good art. It can be satisfying and poetic, but also suck to witness. I guess a lot of folks just jump to any negative feelings being bad, rather than let themselves feel the beauty in a good fictional tragedy.

Naos210 • 18 points
I don’t think people are too upset at Persona 3. In fact I think it’s cool how Episode Aigis explores the different ways Makoto’s friends cope and attempt to move on.
F
fromulus_ • 9 points
To be fair, until episode Aigis/The answer confirmed Makoto’s death, the base game’s ending left it kinda ambiguous whether he had actually died. But also, I think the fact the character is implied to be depressed from the start of the game yet ultimately ends smiling and surrounded by friends that love him, after having accomplished all of their goals does help make the scene kinda uplifting in a way.
N
Naos210 • 6 points
You use a move in the final battle that costs your entire max HP, I’m not sure how much clearer you could get than that beyond just stating he died, to be honest. Also the lyrics to Memories of You make that pretty obvious as well.
B
bilolybob • 14 points
I’m a little annoyed that Cole really died in the Good ending, but only because they did the fake out with the lightning bolt striking his coffin in the epilogue.
C
chosenofkane • 6 points
Well that’s more the fact the originally planned third game got shelved and we got Second Son instead.

> an ending where the MC dies Doesn’t even have to be an ending for the trope to apply… coughthelastofustwo cough
I
InspiredOni • 36 points
I don’t think they’re missing anything, just noticing the writers created a scenario where the militia’s preference (dead Conduits, no conduits) ends up being the “good” path.
T
totallynotaneggtho • 99 points
Except it doesn’t? Its not murdering conduits in the street that stops the beast. Its just that the only way to stop the beast ALSO kills all the conduits. They aren’t justified at all. Also Second Son reveals that it DIDN’T kill all the conduits.
I
IfTheresANewWay • 25 points
There definitely is a debate to be had there (there’s actually a really interesting video out there that argues why they think the evil ending is actually more moral correct than the good one) but in this instance I think the writers just overlooked this, especially given the Militia are essentially defeated by this point in the story If you really wanna justify it, say they’re a group that was gonna say they were always right irregardless of what happened. God knows such people exist in the real world…
D
drafan5 • 82 points
Star doesn’t really solve anything either. The villains plans just get a minor setback at best, and both worlds are in chaos because they merged But Star and Marco are together finally so who cares about everyone else? /s
S
Swan-Diving-Overseas • 19 points
I knew the ending was somewhat controversial but that’s nuts. Is it acknowledged at all as a major mistake in the story?
J
jacksansyboy • 32 points
The show ends. Magic is destroyed, the two realms merge. The villain was piloting a super death robot powered by magic, so that’s not a thing anymore, but the villain is still there. And then the show ends. They don’t explore the consequences, they don’t explain anything about how this is supposed to work now, the show just ends. And as far as I’m aware, that was the planned ending, it wasn’t cut short or rewritten for being cancelled.
C
Content-Walrus-5517 • 14 points
I’m pretty sure they don’t even confirm if Star and Marco stay together, like yes they confess in the pre-final episode, but when the worlds merge they just show us how they meet again but it means nothing because the show ends there, it would be easier to explain with a gif or a video of the ending
T
tacticsf00kboi • 8 points
So we’re fucked as soon as the villain figures out an alternate form of power generation lol

showrunner was so desperate for her self-insert ship that she made it happen by any means (genocide)

So *that* was the reason why people stopped talking about it at some point? I suppose it took the similar path as the Game of Thrones.

Kotal Khan’s random Tarkatan hate boner- Mortal Kombat 11
I
IfTheresANewWay • 56 points
I wouldn’t call it random but it’s certainly not justified. Idk if the developers thought that’d make him endearing towards us or what
[
[deleted] • 28 points
I mean random like he didn’t show any signs of Tarkatan racism in MK X so when did he start hating them as a race?
I
IfTheresANewWay • 29 points
He hates them cause Mileena was a Tarkatan and even after he became Kahn, the Tarkatans were still fiercely loyal to Mileena. I think it’s safe to assume they continued to fight against him even after she died and Kotal one day just snapped and said alright, all of y’all need to go
[
[deleted] • 4 points
Plenty of them would’ve fought him yeah but plenty of them were also just minding their own business.
I
IfTheresANewWay • 7 points
Yeah and Jade rightfully calls him out for that. I’m just saying I wouldn’t describe his racism as random, he has reasons even if they’re highly unjustified
[
[deleted] • 3 points
I just mean that (mainly due to the massive unseen time gap between MKX and MK11) his transition to becoming racist to them seemed random as in MKX while he hated specific tartans he showed no signs of even somewhat disliking the entire race.
M
mythrowaway282020 • 8 points
Nah it was to shoehorn in Jade (who disappeared from Mortal Kombat X for some reason) and give her an arc where she is the voice of reason and stands up to Kotal
