I never trusted this shit Ferran even when he was scoring, his whole mannerism/personality is wrong. Wet noodle mental fortitude. You can even see it by this guy’s celebration, two fingers to his head to indicate he’s a mental giant. It’s a punk ass defensive mentality to have as your standard celebration. Instead of pure joy, he goes on the defensive to convince you how strong he is, so that means he keeps thinking about the negativity which is causing it to affect his confidence, which in turn affects his finishing. This guy is never gonna be the main striker for Barca. He’s capped with this sort of personality. Can’t ever win man to man face to face, can’t play with his back towards goal to create chances for himself, can’t hold up because he’s got clumsy touches and a weak backbone, doesn’t win headers under guard, link up game in putting runners through is not common enough to offset his inconsistency at his main job. Can get into good positions, but it means nothing when his finishing is of such poor quality so often. So many years and he’s still the same, so the contract has to remain the same or similar.
