It makes sense, he has played less than 60% games this season due to the injury at the begining. Even then, the competition of superstars in huge in the west and Luka takes the Lakers spot for a good reason.

Lebron is absolutely an all-star this year no? He’s not all-nba for sure but he’s still a top 20-25 player in the league, which is what qualifies people for all star. I’d be hard-pressed to name 20 guys that are DEFINITELY better than him. He’s been especially good over the last month averaging 27/8/8 which is better than his career averages. Obviously injury and not playing and whatever but…. Come on… It’s Lebron James of course he’s going to be forgiven availability concerns he’s 41. Not to detract from your point though that Steph is awesome and IMO deserves this starting spot.
