Yea people forget that going into the 2019 season, Burrow wasn’t hyped as the presumptive top pick. He was coming off a 2,894 yard season with 16 TD’s and 5 INT’s (399 rush yards w/ 7 TD’s). It was that season (2019) which obviously vaulted him into being the top pick when he had arguably the greatest college football season of all time.

Tua also got hurt that year while still a favorite for the Heisman after that great LSU/Bama game the week before he got hurt. It’s pretty clear that hip injury still prevents him from throwing the way he did in college, so totally understandable teams got spooked in favor of Burrow coming off a monster year.
