I’m sorry, but Tyra is the villain we all thought she was. She’s a capitalist through and through, and like all capitalists the almighty dollar comes before all people, including her “friends.” She makes it seem like she had no other choice in any of the things she did, but we all know that’s not true. Does she have any real long-term friendships in the industry? If she does they’re certainly the exception and not the rule.

I was real curious about that very intentional look after discussing her. Its been years, she could fly anywhere she wanted probably, but still has yet to visit someone who imo helped make her show work as well as it did. The chemistry in early top model cannot be matched (I only say it cause I stopped around S7/8?).

my pops had a stroke last year. his only affected his verbal skills, but it is so very hard to watch him struggle. he gets frustrated that he cannot control his brain. i feel for ms. jay. jay taught me to hold my head tall and look forward. i know the show was problematic, but middle school and high school soupseason adored it. i so wanted to learn from ms. jay directly. thank you for sharing your light ms.jay. god speed you will walk again.

I had a stroke 6 years ago, where I had to relearn how to walk, it is not for the faint of heart. Everyday you have to push and put in the work and most importantly NEVER give up on yourself! Rooting for your recovery Miss J!

It’s a tough wire to balance on because you need to rest, but also the first year or so you need to push as much as you can. I had to relearn how to talk and it’s been 4 years for me, so I know how you and he feels. That “Not yet” was the attitude I had and definitely the one that’s needed.
