They really screwed him up by letting him in trucks. NASCAR needs to be more serious about making people at least get a litttle experience at the previous level. Same thing happened to Legge last year and many others. Not bad drivers but what do you expect when you let people with virtually no experience compete.

Probably should’ve done some races on smaller tracks to get a better feel for the trucks before doing Daytona, but obviously there’s more marketing opportunities for Daytona compared to any other track.

That’s the exact spot that has gotten so many trucks over the years, it was bound to happen. He was washing up laps before, then was over compensating to correct being tight. Everyone has learning moments, some harsher than others.
