Michael J. Fox has recently gained significant media attention due to his participation in the new series “Shrinking,” alongside Harrison Ford. In a Vanity Fair interview, the two actors discussed the show, Fox’s experiences with Parkinson’s disease, and notable current events, including Donald Trump. This high-profile conversation likely contributed to increased search interest as fans and the public seek to engage more deeply with Fox’s personal insights and experiences shared in a widely circulated media outlet.

Further amplifying this search interest, an article from The Free Press featured a candid interview titled “Two Drinks with . . . Michael J. Fox,” which likely attracted readers looking for a more personal connection to Fox’s life and perspectives. Such articles often reveal lesser-known details about public figures that resonate with audiences, motivating them to seek out additional information online.

Additionally, the Los Angeles Times reported on Fox’s emotional connection to “Shrinking,” revealing that he requested a role from his former “Spin City” boss, Bill Lawrence. This kind of storytelling not only highlights Fox’s ongoing career in acting but also showcases his vulnerability and commitment to his craft, drawing fans to learn more about his journey and contributions to the entertainment industry during a time when he has openly discussed his health challenges. The combination of these media pieces creates a compelling narrative that drives search activity surrounding Michael J. Fox.

what playing the dolphins and jets twice a season does to a qb stats

Say what you want about the competition but Maye’s got elite deep ball accuracy. How far that takes him is yet to be seen. Dude needs to clean some things up.

I remember when Pats fans were gaga over Mac Jones after his first two seasons. Edit: weird that so many pats fans are responding that they never liked him yet he was 2nd in jersey sales his rookie year according to google.
N
nepatriots32 • 84 points
First two? We were pretty optimistic after he had an objectively good rookie year and he made the playoffs, but no one was “gaga” over Mac Jones after his 2nd year. We had a lot of that maybe he wouldn’t look as bad as he did with Matt Patricia, and some thought he still had potential to be decent, but it was pretty apparent during his 2nd year that he was never going to be an elite QB. Drake was one vote away from winning MVP, got 2nd team All-Pro, and made it to the Super Bowl in his 2nd season. There are plenty of reasons for Pats fans to be high on Drake. Let’s not conflate the two situations.

Don’t bother man. People believe what they want when it comes to QB rankings. Took Darnold to win a Super Bowl for people to give him respect. But even then, that hasn’t changed how people view Hurts. This was Mayes first breakout year. If he does this again next year, people will give him respect. Brock had an identical season to Maye this year in 2023’. Also lost in the Super Bowl, was even better in the playoffs. And people also didn’t buy it. Gave all the credit to Kyle and his teammates. This year Brock had no real good supporting cast but still all the credit went to Kyle. Nobody likes anointing the young QB. But Maye looked legit this year. One of the best deep ball passers we’ve seen in years. And that was with a crap o-line

Ur joking with the Brock had no good supporting cast, right? CMC died?
N

He died for our sins. Ed sent him to us for that purpose.

“Nobody likes anointing the young QB.” They do it every year! C.J. Stroud was the MAN after his rookie year. Jayden Daniels was the MAN after his rookie year. Now it’s Drake Maye & Caleb Williams… fans and media have been super quick to anoint young QBs for decades. Some are just pushing back on this. Some are just annoyed the Pats might have their next man.

Sorry just to nitpick, but I think the reason fans and media credit Shanny for this season more than Purdy is because Purdy missed eight games and the team was still able to be solid. Not trying to slight Purdy because he’s established himself as a top 8-10 QB, but Shanny deserved COTY over Vrabs for what he did with all the injuries.
D
DoctorBallsJohnson • 2 points
But when it came down to it he didn’t outplay any of Herbert, stroud, and most damningly STIDHAM 😂. Extremely fortunate he didnt have 5 turnovers in that Texans game because half his fumbles bounced back their way. Patriots are young but didn’t suffer any meaningful injuries besides to their average to below average LT, pristine health is their best bet for success

Not to mention, Mac Jones just had a great year as a backup in SF, and was a big reason why they made the playoffs. It’s also so funny to me that Sam Darnold, who was largely written off after a few bad seasons, just won a Super Bowl. Not to mention, Darnold was only traded away after a 14-win season appended by two bad losses No idea what the haters are trying to say with the Maye discussion. Should the pats follow the Vikings lead and release their star QB after a 14-win season PLUS a Super Bowl appearance?
E

Darnold wasn’t traded, Vikings just let him walk out the door.

Mac jones and Drake Maye are on completely different planets and you know that.
C
Comfortable-Half-550 • 12 points
C’mon now, lol. I liked Mac at first, but both Mac hasn’t done or shown anything to the caliber Maye has shown in any way, shape or form.

People where optimistic after his rookie season. Not his second season lol
S
SpiritedKick9753 • 11 points
No one was feeling that way after his second season you dumbass, definitely after his first though

What does this have to do with Jones? Look at Mayes college tape and he was already in a different stratosphere than anyone else on the list
E
escapefromelba • 3 points
His rookie year he brought them to the playoffs – why wouldn’t Pats fans root for a homegrown quarterback particularly after the Cam Newton debacle? He was runner up for ROY. But he never had the ceiling that Maye did as evidenced by falling to them in the draft. Personally, I think Bill fucked him over a bit and didn’t really develop him very well. He still is a serviceable backup though as he showed with the 49ers. I mean quarterbacks are very much hit or miss. I’m sure Bears sold a lot of jerseys when they drafted Justin Fields as well.
P

Nah I was always down on Mac Jones. It was clear he had a low ceiling from day one. Never had a great arm. It took every ounce of energy in his body to make a deep pass. Maye makes those same passes look effortless.
A
AggressiveVast2601 • 13 points
Maye’s ceiling is so much higher than Mac’s & he’s got a good coaching staff to take advantage of that.
F
Firecracker048 • 2 points
Mac was good when he didn’t have a below average defensive coordinator calling plays
R
RedJorgAncrath • 2 points
I mean that TD pass in the SB was insane, and so was the pass to (I think) Hollins with defenders all over the screen. But then the Love INT, as a guy who hasn’t seen Maye play many games I was thoroughly confused. On the INT, he stepped up in the pocket and looked like he was going for the kill when he released. I was like “oh NO … oh!”

We also had this weird little phenomenon this season that once we beat any team, they suck. Losing to the Bears in 2025 was RIP your season.

Same thing happened with the pats lol. Mostly in the playoffs but same idea

The bears played the 49ers, Eagles, Steelers, Packers X2 all at the end of the season, and then went up against the rams (who were better than anyone in the afc) in the playoffs. They beat or almost beat all of them.
B
BlackBearBullCub • 7 points
I think maye is good and will be just fine. Idk man. If I’m looking at team talent tho. Bears played 3 teams I would say had bad coaching or pretty much talentless. Raiders, saints, browns. I’ll throw giants in there since dart got pulled out of the game. Then what? They played Washington when Daniel’s was playing. Cowboys were still a top 3 offense. Vikings have one of the toughest coached teams on both sides of the ball. Went 9-8 this year. Bengals with Flacco still dropped 40 plus, their defense was just worse than ours. And Steelers aren’t a bad team either. Patriots got imo raiders, dolphins, panthers, saints, titans, browns, jets, giants, jets, dolphins. Bruh thats 10 shoe In wins here man… those teams are the worst of the absolute worst. You can even argue bengals if you want. Then of the playoff caliber teams you played, none of them were elite on defense or both sides of the ball. It’s no wonder drake maye had the worst QB playoff performance ever.

its the bears bro. Thats immediately canceled out by playing in a usually tough division. Meanwhile the other guy is plays for the most pampered franchise in modern nfl history
D
Dang1014 • 2 points
Except the lions and Vikings both weren’t much better than the dolphins this year and Jordan love missed 90% of the regular season game that the bears won….
I
itslit710 • 35 points
Realistically the Bears and the Pats were probably at about the same level this season. If they switched spots in the playoffs the Bears very well could’ve made the Super Bowl and the Pats definitely would’ve lost to the Rams
D
DrNCrane74 • 3 points
I do not disagree. That is a very possible scenario.

Maye’d some amazing passes this year many starters in the league can’t. He’s good.

It’s also funny to blame Jayden for his arm getting snapped. Shoulda told his bones to be stronger.
F
Fabtacular1 • 10 points
It’s not a question of who tries the hardest or is the most morally worthy of praise. It’s about who you’d want to pick if you could do it all over again. Durability is a trait no different than size, strength or speed. Jayden’s durability has always been a big concern, and it was a noted talking point during the pre-draft process. So I think it’s fair to hold his injury this year against him as a prospect such that you might prefer other prospects even where their best performances might not be as god as Jayden’s best.

Caleb Williams is gonna have to do better than play hero ball with a 50% completion rate to eclipse Maye. Competition doesn’t matter when half your balls are incompletions. Name one actually good to team the Bears beat this year? Yeah the Pats also beat nobody but Maye did it looking like a stud. And I say this as a fan of the team who just made Drake Maye look like Charlie Whitehurst.

Seems pretty fair and all Maye has made it to the superbowl, Caleb hasn’t, but he’s shown flashes. I would rank the same with what we have now, I think more time is needed here
