We’ve to talk about game management and tactics. Flick’s era has been a disaster for us defensively. It’s one thing to be out-coached once, it’s another thing to concede the exact same type of goals for two seasons in a row and not make changes let alone 4 exact same goals in less than 45 minutes. The suicidal high line was figured out towards end of season last season. Flick has to implement a new defensive scheme. Kounde’s overlapping runs are so useless, defenders literally stick with Yamal and let Kounde run offside coz he can’t beat his man 1v1. This is also stalling Yamal’s growth.
