People claim it, especially fans of Linkin park because the new singer Emily is a Scientologist and friends with Bijou (she even helped harass rape victims in court) and they don’t want to admit their fav band hired a Scientologist when there other lead singer was a major advocate for mental health and committed suicide

No I’m pretty sure Bijou converted to Catholicism, she posted about taking her daughter to communion. Tbh I’m really confused by that whole Emily thing cus she does advocate for mental health too, she and her band performed at a mental health charity event hosted by Chester’s wife Talinda in 2021. There’s also a video of Mike Shinoda calling Scientology dark in 2021. I was skeptical of all these fans defending her but there’s actually some pretty solid evidence out there that she’s not an actual believer (anymore at least), and was more of a victim of being born into it. Edit – Also read that Emily’s parental figures (Shea and Brian Bowen Smith) are connected to Leah Remini and Brian did the cover shoot for her book about leaving Scientology (google confirms this), which doesn’t seem like it’d fly if Emily were one.

Honestly screw her, her rapist ex-husband. I hope both of them will never know peace, they are vile human beings, but I feel absolutely awful for their daughter. Her parents were probably never great given their backgrounds, but having your parent ripped from you is always traumatic for a child, and now her only remaining parent has serious issues with a vital organ. I hope Bijou receives a kidney for that reason, and that their daughter will grow up to be happy, healthy and somewhat well-adjusted despite her upbringing.
