I have the same sentiment about things like the rice negotiation, where the real sacrifice isn’t really giving up the chance at immunity, it’s giving up the experience of competing.

Normally it makes sense to always go for it. This is one of the few times throwing would have 100% been the right choice. She and Matt would have been safe. It’s likely all of her allies would have survived the vote. And Frannie gets eliminated for being too good at challenges. Maybe one less win would have lowered her threat level enough to survive a little longer.

I think Kane is easily eliminated here. His only ally in this group was Carson, who ended up turning on him almost immediately after this episode anyway.

If I recall, at this time in the game, both the green tribe and the red tribe were trying to work with Tika against each other. So I think it’s unlikely the red tribe would have targeted Carson/Carolyn and then have whoever remained + Yam Yam join the greens to form a solid majority.
