Everyone was dogging on it because -the pen is bad -the damage is awful -who is even going to use the HE (10mm lol) -armor isnt good besides the turret sometimes Then it came out and all of a sudden its either good or the most OP tank line ever. By that logic my Concept 5 is an *amazing* heavy. Who cares if the gun is great when even bad/inaccurate guns pen you everywhere for twice the damage. To prevent that, you have to not play against other heavies, leaving your team one heavy short, and one mediocre medium up (size and camo are very much heavy). If they’d have classified it as medium, i’d have bought it. As is, anyone who queues with it either dies fast against other heavies, or just assumes that someone cleans after him. Not particularly great perspectives.

It will be good against lower tiers with 165 mm of he pen and ok armor but against the same tier or higher it will be basically a medium tank in place of heavy. I wish it would be medium because then you could use the camo and have much more opportunities.

I recently got flamed for not following an M48 Patton to his death where he did 2 shots of damage and died, and how I’m “not using my armor” and “not helping my team.” I was in an MBT-B, and minutes before I saved a CS-63 that had two mediums dive on him. To our 43% M48, that was apparently a non-contributing factor and I should learn to play the game better.

Most good players will not message you after the game. it is the bad players who blame everyone except themselves for losses who message others. Also dont worry about the stats. you will definitely improve if you are putting in the effort.

The problem with playing these medium-tier heavies on the medium side is that they’re great fun on that front, but just selecting the tank also makes your heavy line underpowered vs the other team, no matter which side of the map you play. If you can get the medium flank to push through the enemy quicker than your heavy line collapses. congrats! But it’s a gamble with the random allotment of tanks / skills on your team.

The good players yell at you because you are losing the game with faffing around looking at flowers while the heavy flank badly needed another gun. Don’t play heavies if you can’t play them.

Basically a pay-to-lose tank because the other Team will get: \- E75 \- Conq \- Contender \- AE Phase 1 etc. to counterbalance your “versatile heavy SPHT”

I think it would’ve fit better into the Support Heavy role looking at the firepower. Right now it will create an imbalance in the matchup. The 2700 base dpm (vs ~2200 of most other T IX Versatile Heavies) and good gun stats will definitely allow this tank to dish out a lot of damage fast, but you’ll have to play more carefully and will find it harder to push a flank without sacrificing all your HP.
