Seriously like am i the only one who thinks kerr needs to go and tonight is a major reason. Not only has he restricted currys mins for someone of his caliber to a very low average per game since he came to the team but he wont even play the most productive players on back to backs. Every effing game counts. Every team has to play b2b sometimes and u dont see all the best players sitting out in the second game. Yes i read the injury report which had curry, green, horford and melton. These are all players who are perfectly fine to play. Yes even horford isnt too old to play back to back. Just give him limited mins. Its like kerr just takes the loss ahead of time. We already have a much smaller chance at winning without butler and now hes just gonna sit our top guys out because they have to play 2 days in a row? These guys get paid obscene amounts of cash to play a year. Currys getting over a million dollars a game. Back to what i was ranting about curry playing low mins per game for a super star. For instance, the last time he averaged at least 35 mpg in a season was when he was 25. That was the year before kerr came. Kerrs first year as coach his mins go down to 32.7!!!! At 26 years old and at the top of his game!!! Now lets bring lebron into this discussion. The last time lebron averaged 35 mpg was last year at age 40!!!! And he has been playing back to backs. The man has played over 520 more games than steph and has always averaged extremely high mpg and is still playing at a high level for his age. Lebrons literally 22 games away from playing more games than any player ever and still getting more mind and playing b2b over steph. Obviously this isnt stephs choice, but i would be livid if i was the front office. Theyre in the middle of a playoff chase with butler gone and no trade in site, and kerrs just losing games on purpose. He knew we had no chance by sitting them out. Mikal bridges would be livid if kerr was his coach because hes never missed a game. Does any of this not piss curry and green off? Buddy played really badly tonight, you serious? he consistently took shots that are really bad shots for him (transition 3’s instead of hitting a layup, missed his fts, dribbled into traffic and tried to find shots he doesn’t have in his bag) and he bricked most of his 3’s and made 2 shots total all night for his 29 minutes played. he earned all of his -20 out there. The good buddy that we knew is long gone. he forgets how to play ball every year and now isn’t even a shooting threat anymore, by the numbers. Eh, I’d rather have LJ cryer because he’s a bucket. Pat, I like his gusto but he’s an old school PG at best that can’t defend rn. he really really needs to put up like 500 shots from 3 and some middy shots per night if he’s gonna actually be useful and have a career.

The 2 timeline thing is a myth. That’s not what hurt the franchise after 2022. We traded away Wiseman’s ass for GP2 back anyways. If we traded Moody and Kuminga it would only have been for mid veterans making 6-8 million a year. The reality is they overpaid all the non-Steph starters. Even Jimmy is overpaid for what he brings to the table. Draymond and Klay are/were terrible contracts for their production. And Steve Kerr’s obsession for midget ball doesn’t help. You could criticize Lacob for picking bad picks but this is all hindsight, almost every NBA team had Wiseman up there regardless. I give Lacob credit for spending during the luxury tax years, it’s what made 2022 possible.
